Out of all the novels in the Odd Thomas series by Koontz, this one might be our favorite. At times, they ask him for justice, at others, to solve a certain crime that has befallen them or someone they care about, and sometimes, it’s something altogether different. Whether such a thing is a blessing or a terrible curse, Thomas dithers between the two antipodes, though he tries his best when these spirits come to him.
